Afraid Of Tomorrows by The Mysterines, released 21 June 2024 via Fiction Records, marks the second UK Top 20 album for the Wirral alt-rockers.

Recorded and produced in LA by Grammy Award-winning producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen), Afraid of Tomorrows represents a deeper and darker foray into The Mysterines’ psyche than its predecessor, and reflects the maturity and growth of the band, completed by Lia Metcalfe (vocals and guitar), George Favager (bass), Callum Thompson (guitar) and Paul Crilly (drums).


On 28 June 2024, Afraid Of Tomorrows entered the Official Albums Chart at Number 11, giving The Mysterines their second Top 20 album on the bounce, after their 2022 record Reeling charted at Number 9. 

On the chart success of Afraid Of Tomorrows, The Mysterines said “Thanks for continuing to support us and for investing in our band. We hope you love this album as much as we do, see you all on tour!”
