AUTUMN VARIATIONS

Released September 29 2023, Autumn Variations is the second album released by Ed Sheeran in 2023, following Subtract, the last entry in his career-spanning Mathematics era.
A collaboration between Ed and The National's Aaron Dessner, who helped him produce much of Subtract, and is also best known for being one of the co-sculptors of Taylor Swift's folklore and evermore, Autumn Variations is Ed's first independent release on his own record label Gingerbread Man Records. He wanted to release the record independently as a break from big-budget pop and the pressures of major labels, even opting out of planning any singles or videos for the campaign.
