SONGS OF A LOST WORLD

The Cure's Songs Of A Lost World, released 1 November 2024 via Fiction/Polydor marked the band's first new material in 16 years, since 2008's 4:13 Dream.
Their 14th studio LP, Songs Of A Lost World is also the band's first record where all the songs are written by singer Robert Smith. The Cure's Songs Of A Lost World went straight in at Number 1 on Friday 8 November 2024, ending a 32 year gap since their previous chart-topping album.
On reaching Number 1, The Cure told Official Charts “It is enormously uplifting, genuinely heartwarming to experience such a wonderful reaction to the release of the new Cure album. To everyone who has bought it, listened to it, loved it, believed in us over the years - THANK YOU!”
In December 2024, Official Charts confirmed The Cure's Songs Of A Lost World to be 2024's best-selling new vinyl release by a British artist and eighth best-selling vinyl album of the year overall.
