Moon Music, released 4 October 2024 via Parlophone is Coldplay's tenth chart-topping studio album.
Serving as part 2 of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres project - part 1 being 2021's From Earth with Love, the band released three editions of the album including Notebook, Tour and Full Moon. Each with exclusive content spanning, live sets, voice notes and bonus tracks.
Moon Music features collaborations with artists including Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, Tini, Ayra Starr, and Jon Hopkins. The record was produced by Bill Rahko, Dan Green, Michael Ilbert and Max Martin, with additional production from Jon Hopkins, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Oscar Holter and the Chainsmokers. The album was preceded by the singles Feelslikeimfallinginlove and We Pray. The final single, All My Love, was made available on the same day as the album.
In October 2024 Coldplay landed their tenth consecutive chart-topping album when Moon Music reached Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. Moon Music's opening week sales of 237,000 chart units, marked the band’s strongest UK album launch week since 2008’s Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, according to Official Charts.
By December Moon Music was confirmed by Official Charts as one of the biggest albums of 2024 - claiming the titles of the most-downloaded album and best-selling CD album of 2024.
