Busted's first hits collection album features re-recorded versions of much loved songs from their first two albums, 2002's self-titled debut and 2003's A Present for Everyone. "Going into the studio again, and re-recording the songs as we play them now, that felt really exciting, and something that we really wanted to do," band member Matt Willis said when it dropped in September 2023.
Greatest Hits 2.0 is also available as an expanded Guest Features Editions that includes new duet versions of their classic hits: Year 3000 2.0 with Jonas Brothers, Thunderbirds Are Go 2.0 with McFly, What I Go to School For 2.0 with The Vamps, and many more. Busted’s hard graft paid off when Greatest Hits 2.0 became their first ever Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in September 2023, more than twenty years into their career.
