Weeknd is close and climbing with 2 records: Save Your Tears and Blinding Lights. A big drop from Kid Laroi next week could see Tiesto be the #1 of the year so far. Yes, Olivia Rodrigo fell this week, but should regain the place by overtaking Paradise, especially if she retains the 15-position difference of this week.
Wellerman makes it's debut in the year's top 10. Being only 10 weeks old (the newest of the top 10), it is at it's highest possible position. 10 weeks at #1 earning 750 pts would not make it any higher on the chart of the year.

huh, guess i didn’t miss much. just a mediocre number 1 being knocked off by something even worse. lil nas x is now a satanist too, so no wonder i’m not very happy about it. :I

next week it’s likely to be olivia rodrigo’s new song, which i really like, but it’s not in the same tier as drivers license. i really wanted friday to go all the way to number 1, but i think we can rule that out now unfortunately.

as for the top 40 arrivals, good without is decent enough. body is quite disappointing considering russ millions brought us the absolute banger that was keisha & becky. i’m really happy to see heartbreak anniversary hit the top 40 at last, and rasputin was always an absolute tune. :)

i’m mixed on the tom grennan climbers - little bit of love is awesome, but i’m not keen on let’s go home together at all. really sad to see patience fall, but your love going top 10 makes up for it a little. ferrari horses is great but i HATE to see drivers license continuing to fall.

below the top 40, i really hope you’ve done enough and summer 91 don’t flop, i love both songs and have had both of them blasting this week, especially the latter. you all over me deserved better too.

OMG!! I really didn't expect LIL NAS X to be number 1 this week!! It comes as a surprise for quite a few people i guess? But very pleased about it..Just a shame RITON has no chance now to claim the number 1 spot..

This new number 1 has really surprised me, still not sure on the song but maybe it’ll grow on me. Still hoping for peaches to get to the top spot at some point.

Just here as always to say don't sleep on You've Done Enough and Summer 91... both are brilliant songs and feel like top 40 hits in the making!

I know Country Music doesn't get much airplay in the UK, but I do hope Drunk (and I don't wanna go home) by Elle King and Miranda Lambert gets some leverage, as its really good IMO.

I'm loving 'One More Time' by Robin Schulz ft Alida. Hoping it will debut next week. What's people's thoughts ??
