My favourite songs "Beautiful People" Ed Sheeran & Khalid; "3 Nights" Dominik Fike; "Higher Love" Kygo & Whitney Houston; "Mad Love" Mabel; "Strike A Pose" Young & Bugsey ft. Why Ed Sheeran's Nothing on you, feat. Paulo Londra hasn't even enter the top 100? It's an amazing song!
Piran
Artists can now only chart up to three songs simultaneously each week.
If it wasn't for this rule, 'Nothing On You' would almost certainly be here, thanks to the video.
Damián
OMG! I still can get use to these freaky chart rules!! Thanks dear Piran 4 the answer!
Piran
Yeah, the new chart rules continue to remain an annoyance.
You're welcome! :)

I wonder if that's the first time the highest new entry to the top 40 has been at number 40?
jfrry
It's fair that Ariana Grande's Boyfriend dropped out of the top 10 this week. I didn't like it that it is a copycat of Thank u next, but more boring, it surely didn't deserve to go to nr1.
thierry henon
Can't believe RITA ORA with her amazing song RITUAL never broke the top 20!! She has had weaker songs which made it to the top 10!!
jfrry
yeah, it's a shame that track is a dance anthem, it deserved a top10 at least..
Damián
Totally agree! This is a fire song
thierry henon
Nearly as good as EVERYWHERE i reckon...
Damián
Yesss, I guess you mean ANYWHERE.... the #2 hit for Rita....That was a pop anthem!
thierry henon
yes Anywhere...silly me! Definitely a pop anthem indeed...I prefer her latest releases...Never like fer first few singles...too much rap or hip hop...that kind of music...
Damián
Definitely love this new sound for Rita too. She has an extraordinary voice!
Ronald van Veen
ANYWHERE was an awesome song!

Katy Perry's Small talk didn't even make it to the Top 40. SMH
Oh wait, it's not even in the Top 100 =_=

Katy Perry’s Small Talk didn’t make the top 40. But it is in the top 100 at 43 on the chart so close maybe next week.
Piran
Hey David! :)
'Small Talk' is actually at #43 this week, so it did make the Top 100.
David N'jama
Oh, didn't see it the last time. My bad 😅
David N'jama
Didn't see it before. Silly me.
Yep, hopefully next week. That song deserves a Top 20 (at least)
Brandon Mwinga
don't think it will make it though it's not catchy
thierry henon
Whitney only has 14 top 5 singles? I thought that amazing singer had much more than that!! Anyway so pleased to see her still in 2019 in the single charts thanks to Kygo!!
Can't believe Sam Smith made it to the top 10 with his new single!! Awful song...So glad Bieber and Ed are out out of the top 20 this week!! Such a shame LIZZO never cracked the top 20!! She deserves much more success !!
ShunB
I thought she had more way more than 14 in the UK. Guess better to have that then only maybe 4 or 5..lol
Piran
My thoughts & observations on the UK charts as always…
‘Senorita’ by Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello dominates the singles chart for a fifth week in a row. As well as Shawn’s longest #1 in the country, it now ties ‘Havana’ as Camila’s longest chart leader, which also spent five weeks at the top back in late 2017.
‘Senorita’ was streamed over 6 million times over the past seven days, giving it a 6,200 combined chart sales lead over its nearest challenger.
‘Senorita’ also dominates the national airplay chart for a fifth consecutive week.
‘Old Town Road [Remix]’ by Lil Nas X ft Billy Ray Cyrus is #1 on Britain’s YouTube chart for a 17th consecutive week! It does, however, fall 17.7% in views from last week to 3.26 million.
'Higher Love' is Kygo's first Top 5 hit & Whitney's fourteenth! It's also the new #1 on the sales & downloads chart.
MEGAN THEE STALLION FT NICKI MINAJ & TY DOLLA $IGN - HOT GIRL SUMMER (#40)
While I hadn’t even heard this up until now, I’m just glad we finally have two female rappers who respect one another, given the fierce competition & rivalries they’re facing at the moment. All that being said, Ty Dolla $ign is actually the best part of the song, going for a more nonchalant & chilled R&B hook over a Memphis hip-hop beat. Megan & Nicki do have at least a bit of chemistry, especially with their fiery attitudes, but both have brought a lot better bars before & the opening seems a bit messy, but the production does fix itself fairly quickly. The only two problems here are most of the content (where the girls try to throw in as many $ex references as possible) & the fact that the sampling City Girls’ JT doesn’t really fit into the other artists credited here as well as it should. Overall, I get why this is blowing up as a late summer anthem, but expect this to be frontloaded too. Overall, light 6/10!
DJ SNAKE, J BALVIN & TYGA - LOCO CONTIGO (FRANCE #2) [WORLD HIT]
Surprise, surprise! Another week with very little chart action. So let’s look elsewhere for some promising future hits. I was actually almost going to choose ‘Dance Monkey’, but I could be reviewing that in the next week or two anyway. As for this, I highlight it because it seems like a collaboration that wouldn’t work on paper; mixing reggaeton & trap… yet, I can absolutely see why this has taken over Europe this summer! DJ Snake brings a similar opening melody that ‘Taste’ had, while also adding a warm yet gentle bass that allows the song to flow perfectly. J Balvin’s hook is way more catchy than usual, probably because he sounds vibrant instead of boring for once. However, unbelievably, it’s Tyga that impressed me the most here, where he goes into a more saucy if mushy delivery, which is the side of him I can actually somewhat get behind. As well as the usual comments on a girl’s body, he & J Balvin at least note the girl’s sweet personality too. If ‘Taki Taki’ & ‘Mi Gente’ can become moderate hits in the UK, then I don’t see any reason why this shouldn’t either. Pleasantly surprised by this!
On the albums chart, Slipknot secure their first #1 since 2001 with ‘We Are Not Your Kind’. It opens with 31,800 combined sales (25,000 physical sales, 5,000 downloads & 4,300 streaming equivalent sales).
The rest of the Top 5 is: ‘No.6 Collaborations Project’ by Ed Sheeran (1-2), ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ (2-3), ‘Tallulah’ by Feeder (debuts at #4) & ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ by Billie Eilish (stationary at #5).
Looking ahead to next week, these songs could enter the Top 40 for the first time: ‘Lover’ by Taylor Swift, ‘Good Vibes Only [VIP]’ by Them Ones, ‘Slide Away’ by Miley Cyrus, ‘Motivation’ by Normani. ‘Won’t Be Late’ by Swae Lee ft Drake, ‘My One’ by Wiley ft Tory Lanez, Kranium & Dappy, ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones & I, ‘Good As ’ by Lizzo, ‘Post Malone’ by Sam Feldt ft RANI, 'Be Honest' by Jorja Smith ft Burna Boy, 'Both' by Headie One & maybe even more.
Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you all have a good weekend. :)
My latest Crown Note chart: http://crownnote.com/charts/piran-delves/pirans-top-40-142
Conner Harper
Hi Piran. I have changed my Name From "TheSimulationFan" to "Conner Harper" just so that it matches my Crownnote Username.
Kygo and Whitney' "Higher Love" climbs into the top 5, much to my delight. It's the first song this year that has spent 6 weeks or more in my top 2 Crownnote chart and the first since July 2018 when Tom Walker spent 6 weeks at Number 1 with "Leave A Light On". Still a solid 9/10 at this point in time. I really hope this song can hit the top 3 next week. It seems to be increasing in streams and staying at Number 1 on Itunes so it has a good chance.
I am so happy that Sam Smith has climbed into the Top 10 as it was my personal number 1 last week. I wasn't to keen on this song at the start but it had grown on me so much by last
week that I have given it a solid 8/10.
As for this weeks Number 40. Megan Thee Stalion, Nicki Minaj and all the rests song. I am not to keen on this type of music. Probably a 3/10 at this point in time.
Katy Perry's "Small Talk" at Number 43 is probably my favourite Katy Perry song since "Feels" in 2017. This is now my Personal Number 1 for this week. It was quite a shame that this song did not make the top 40. I think if she had a music video released for this song on the day or even on monday, she would probably have gained alot more streams from YouTube and climbed into the top 40, but only time will tell if she will enter the top 40.
As for next week, I like 4 of the songs that were released today. Taylor Swift's "Lover" (Which I think is her best since ME! in April 2019) , Cascada's "Like The Way I Do", JP Cooper, Gabrielle Aplin's "Losing Me" and Miley Cyrus's "Slide Away"
Thanks For Reading :)

Mark Booker
Hi looks like george ezra will break ed sheerans record chart run of 73 continuous weeks in the top 75 which he set with thinking out loud.Shotgun is on 73 now so next week it will become the longest continuous staying song in the top 75 ever with 74 weeks wow
Piran
Hey Conner! How you doing? :)
'Higher Love' is actually set to rebound into the Top 10 on my Crown Note chart too, while I would still give it an 8/10 rating for now.
As I mentioned to you over on your new chart, I don't mind 'Small Talk' by any means, but I just thought 'Never Really Over' was way better & the right choice for a lead single.
I don't know where my mind falls on 'Hot Girl Summer' to be honest; the delivery (especially the hook) is growing on me, but I don't really like the content at all.
The only song I'd really disagree with you on is 'How Do You Sleep?', which I still find a little underwhelming, at least compared to what Sam Smith has put out in the past.
'Lover' is definitely one of the best tracks from the album of the same name so far, although I think 'The Archer' would be my favourite of the four so far. The only other song I've heard out of those other you mentioned was 'Slide Away', which wasn't bad either. I haven't heard any of the others, but I like all the artists, so I'm curious to hear them!
Foxes
Hey Piran! I really like seeing 'Señorita' spend a 5th week at #1 this week, matching 'Havana's run! It looks very likely to stay there next week as well so it should become Camila's longest running #1, though unless it can somehow increase in streams this week it'll be on ACR the week after, most likely allowing 'Beautiful People' to return to #1 for a single week until that gets pushed onto ACR as well. I like seeing 'Take Me Back To London' rebounding into the Top 10 as well, though it definitely was unexpected.
Another slow week for debuts, though the 1 that we did get wasn't the best in my opinion. I thought that Megan & Nicki both had pretty good flows, but, like you, Ty Dolla $ign was the best part of the song for me with the chilled R&B hook. I also agree that the actual content of the song is severely lacking, so it'd be a light 6/10 from me as well.
Looking to next week, it does seem like 'Lover' will be the highest debut, but 'Be Honest' might not be that far behind at all. 'Lover' is of course dominating on iTunes, where it's at #7 compared to 'Be Honest' at #33, but 'Be Honest' is #25 on Apple Music, quite far ahead of 'Lover' at #42. Also, on Spotify 'Lover' debuted at #27 while 'Be Honest' debuted at #33, and if the trend from Apple Music is anything to go by 'Be Honest' will most likely climb over the next few days while 'Lover' will most likely fall. Other than those 2, 'Both' might manage a low Top 40 debut, as might 'Won't Be Late', but it doesn't really look like there'll be any really high debuts.
Piran
Hey Gameskiller! :)
I'm still really happy about 'Senorita's dominance too! This now means that Camila has spent 10 cumulative weeks at #1 before her second solo studio album has even been announced. I wouldn't even be surprised if she hits the top of the chart again (or comes close) before the end of the year!
After that, it seems like '3 Nights' is the next likely to take it, although I know you're not the biggest fan of the song. It's already gone up to #2 on Spotify, #6 on Apple Music & #7 on iTunes, so it's probably the most consistent of the other songs near the top. 'Ladbroke Grove' & 'Taste [Make It Shake]' are both Top 5 in both streaming services, but they're also severely lacking sales or radio. The latter might have an advantage because of its #2 debut on YouTube, with around 2.33 million for the week just gone.
As for next week, I agree with most of your predictions, although I think 'Simmer' & maybe 'Post Malone' could have a shot at the lower end of the Top 40 too, or at least come within a few positions of the region. Unfortunately, I think 'Ransom' will almost definitely reach the Top 10, thanks to a remix with Juice WRLD. Incredibly, I did think the original was slightly better than the original, but the song as a whole is still just okay at best.
Foxes
Yeah, Camila's really had a lot of early career success, so hopefully she can keep it up in the future as well! It seems likely that her 2nd album will be released towards the end of this year, so her being near the top of the charts again before the end of the year is definitely possible.
'3 Nights' does look like the most likely to go to #1 3 week's time, either that or 'Higher Love'. Both of them would be very lucky to go to #1, though, since if none of 'Señorita', 'Beautiful People', 'I Don't Care', 'bad guy' or 'Old Town Road' were on ACR at that point then I don't think either of them would be going to #1, as I'm pretty sure all 5 of those songs would still be in the Top 10.
Surprisingly, 'Simmer' isn't even in the Top 200 on Spotify, despite the fact that it's #28 on Apple Music, so it might have trouble reaching the Top 40. I would really love if it did, though, as I really like the track. 'Post Malone' definitely has a much better chance, though. I think the 'Ransom' remix is a decent bit better than the original, and while the song is growing on me, I'm still not the biggest fan. It definitely does look like it'll be Top 10 in the next chart, though, since it's currently #2 on Spotify if you combine the streams of both versions.
'Lover' was also Top 10 on the update, but I do seriously doubt it'll be there on the final chart. I think a debut around #20 is far more likely with how it's currently performing across all services (#13 iTunes, #42 Apple Music, #39 Spotify). 'Be Honest' may even be able to debut higher than it if it can keep climbing, or at the very least climb higher than it the week after with the way it's currently performing (#36 iTunes, #19 Apple Music, #33 Spotify).
Piran
I think the lead single to Camila's second album should be out within the next couple of months, given how much she's been teasing it. As far as I'm aware, 'Senorita' wasn't the lead single, but just another one-off collaboration with Shawn (unless it fits in where 'I Don't Care' eventually did!).
I mostly agree with your predictions for if ACR didn't exist, but I also think 'Someone You Loved' could still be Top 10 after all this time too. Regarding '3 Nights', I could see it dominating the Spotify chart soon, but it needs to catch up a bit more on Apple Music.
Yeah, I might not like a majority of Juice WRLD's music, but he did improve 'Ransom' for me. I still wouldn't give the song more than a solid 5/10 though.
'Lover' fell from #9 to #13 in the space of one day, so I don't know if it'll even make the Top 20 by the end of the week. Then again, it is her first country single from the new album, so I'm not surprised it's not become much of a streaming presence in the UK.
Foxes
'Señorita' was recently added to the "Deluxe Edition" of Shawn Mendes' 3rd album on digital platforms, alongside 'If I Can't Have You', so while it could be on Camila's 2nd album as well, it's definitely not certain.
It's weird to think that, in a few week's time, as many as 6 songs that deserve to be in the Top 10 could have been pushed out of it because they're older songs, and it's really why I disagree with ACR as a whole.
Yeah, it's not really that surprising that 'Lover' isn't doing incredible on streaming in the UK, but honestly I was more surprised when I just checked and found out it was #6 on Spotify in the US. I knew Taylor was bigger in the US than the UK, but I didn't think the difference was that big!
Piran
I doubt it would be on two different albums to be fair, but since they've collaborated before & they're also now dating, it might be on Camila's next album. It could also be a really good marketing technique, given how successful 'Senorita' has been so far!
Regarding Taylor, the difference is indeed massive! All four songs that have been released from 'Lover' have hit #1 on iTunes in the UK so far. 'Me!' & 'You Need To Calm Down' would also both have been #1s on the Hot 100 if it weren't for 'Old Town Road'.
The bigger surprise for me was that all of Taylor's past four albums have debuted with over one million overall units in the US! That's all of her studio albums except her self-titled debut. :O
