And in comes Can’t Feel My Face! The Hills entered a while ago too. The latter would go on to get a remix by the legendary EMINEM. Both songs get a solid 9/10 from me! :)

Well I really thought this song
" i'm Madonna "
would have made the charts,
the top 100.
There are literally too many forces out they're blocking Madonna's path to success.
The fans might have to settle for Her steller unbelievable 30-year career.
Rebel heart is an incredible album one of her best.
She puts out high quality material , she is extremely professional,
her voice sounds beautiful,
she looks stunning..... still
Moving on.... I don't believe that radio and the record buying youth of today.
( if anybody actually buys any records anymore)
will allow her to have another hit. It is well documented now that people are blocking Madonna because of ageism, they feel as if she should just go away.
But I'm sure if you ask them if their favorite artist was 56 would you want them to disappear and I'm sure the answer is No.
But we are not talking about Taylor Swift or Beyonce or Rihanna
we are talking about "Madonna"
And people always have irrational negative thoughts about Madonna. For example when she adopted two children from Africa , people were up in arms. why?
Most rational people would say adopting two children from Africa is a good thing.

but not if you're Madonna. Somehow it's a bad thing.

Almost every article I read starts out with" Madonna age 56"
Like it's a scarlet letter.
And it seems like they find so much joy in reporting negative storylines.
And there's this underline meanest from the writers.
As if they want to put her in her place.

What's the Madonna fan to do? Well first thing
*still luv Madonna,
do we need the world to love her as much as we do?
I always thought she belongs to us anyway (not them)
she belongs to US.
Not the whiners, not the haters ,not the people who don't buy her albums, not the people who don't listen to radio...... She belongs" US" !

if the world wants to shun her there's not much we could do .
We could still enjoy
her music ,
her videos ,
her tours .
But they cannot deny the GREATNESS that she has created.
there's no way they can take that away from her.
all we have to do is still love and support our Queen.

MADONNA FOREVER

The thing is with Madonna although she is getting older her original fan base is ageing too and they aren't as in tuned to music as they were before. They will still be listening to the radio as ways to find out about new music and Madonna doesn't get a lot of radio play anymore. In the UK her best bet at radio is radio 2 but ' i'm madonna' isn't really a song that will please her original fan base. They don't want to hear dance records they want another 'like a prayer' or 'holiday.' Going back to a more 80s influence is becoming a trend in pop music so there isn't any reason Madonna couldn't do that, I just don't think she wants to judging the sound of Rebel Heart and if she doesn't want to then she shouldn't, she should do what she wants and doing what you want in music has it's downfalls in that it wont always be a chart success and what fans want to hear. Madonna will know that more than anyone else given the longevity her career has given her.

I do agree with you about the 'age, 56' comment but that is simply because of how long she has been around. In other magazines you see: "Katy Perry, roar singer". Everybody who reads those sort of tabloids know who Madonna is and they know what music she has released, instead commenting about her age reinforces the readers identity as they will most likely be getting older to and it gives them reflection and engages them in the magazine because they think 'gosh Madonna is 56? Well I suppose that's about right I was such and such age myself when Papa Don't Preach was on the radio'. I'm not saying that I agree with it, they could write "Madonna, who recently released her new single B***c I'm Madonna," instead and engage them that isn't what the readers know Madonna of. Katy on the other hand the readers will know her as that roar singer their children are listening to. Sadly, that's just the way things are.

Time isn't everybody's friend, but it doesn't have to be an enemy. Besides I doubt Madonna truly cares about where her singles chart anymore, she knows there is a new generation of artists and listeners and it'll be near impossible for her to tap into them and compete against the likes of Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, simply because she isn't a relatable figure to that audience. Lets be honest the children wont be admiring someone who reminds them of their Mother.

Ship To Wreck should be number one. This shows that real music is almost dead.

"Real music?" All music is music, and there is no such thing as alleged "real music."

I think when James says "real music", he is referring to music that isn't considered as "pointless noise"

For God's sake, learn some basic grammar and spelling before trying to communicate with other human beings. You're an embarrassment. Or an idiot. Possibly both.

Bit rude... I think basic manners, tolerance and kindness are better qualities than basic grammar and spelling, but maybe that's just me...

Hopefully. If we disregard English grammar and spelling, we all just descend into communication by grunts and drooling. In other words, the nonsense this clown had been posting. I realise this person probably thinks he's being clever but it's just tiresome and pathetic.

A

Well we aint all lille Englanders on ere, ere are if you aint bothered to post abahrt the charts then I aint botherin to reply to them insults either.

Your spelling is appalling. Its tricky to read your sentence. I am bored reading that slang word 'Abahrt'. It is very juvenile. So your point gets lost.

Madonna must go back to Warner Bros and change her managment team ...They destroy her career .Rebel Heart is one of her best works and Live Nation does not promote it .

Rebel Heart is truly Madonna's best since Ray of Light & COADF and could been a killer "single album", if all those unnecessary featuring artists had been omitted.

So, after the brilliant 'Ghosttown' fails to make the top 100, ' I'm Madonna' follows the same way. This is Madonna! So embarrassing. C'mon record company, release a great track from Rebel Heart, promote it properly and get the track out there at the same time as the promo and the video! It's not bleedin' rocket science is it!! Grrrrr!!

It's not the song that's the problem, it's the fact it's Madonna. Radio One have now dropped her from the Radio One playlist so you'll only hear her music now if it enters the Top 40. I'm not a great fan of Madonna's but I think it's an absolute disgrace that she's been dropped just because of her age. Of course the BBC will deny it's ageist on their part. I wonder if he were still alive would Michael Jackson be treated the same way?

A

Yeah well they play er on radio 2 n thass wot I listen to but she juss aint as good as wot she used to be n thass all there is to it.

Totally agree. Ghosttown should have been promoted more. It's a jewel of Adult Contemporary Pop deserving of much more attention than the teenage trash of B**** I'm Madonna.

This stupid and unfounded practice of Ageism also stirs up bitter feelings in me. Don't they know AC artists also sell well, particularly CD and vinyl?
