This is not the correct chart for this week. There was a new Top 50 issued on 24th December 1974 and the Top 30 was broadcast on Radio 1 that day. That was the chart which was valid for two weeks. It is presented on this site as if it was published on 31st December.

I have just checked this with the Guinness Top 40 Charts book (1992) and the chart data is correct. For week ending 28 December 1974, there was no chart published. Chart for 21 December repeated.
