Leader of the Pack appears to be in the charts twice - at number 47 (up from 48) and then at 43 (also up from 48). Both have the same chart history.

Mistake here! Tina Charles was not a re-entry at 42, in fact it had been on the charts in the previous 3 weeks, but wrongly replaced here by a similarly named Bay City Rollers record, which explains how the mistake occurred. (Teenybopper records did use to plummet from the charts as you would expect, so it's not wrong that this did happen). A rival website which shows chart runs gets this right, if this website referred to original paper copies of Music Week then they'd be able to affirm this fact.
Great that this site now does go to Top 50/75/100. I do see some other small errors - viz tie positions. When the BMRB took over in 1969, hardly a week went by without tie positions, as this website shows. In the 80's a tie breaking rule was introduced to prevent ties. However, in the 70s there were generally one or two weeks per year that ties positions happened, and quite a few of these have been missed - eg later in 1976 Smokie's I'll meet you at Midnight did not climb from 12 to 11, it remained at 11, being placed at joint 11with the Real Thing the previous week.
