Yeah, it’s been reset. Seems fair since it never went top 40 before, now here’s it’s chance!

Are they allowed to do that?

Yeah, the rule is if it’s increased by 25% in one week it will get reset, not sure if that’s the case here, maybe just gave it a reset as it never turned into a proper hit and now is it’s chance.

I was just being sarcastic! I meant that, unfortunately for you, Ed Sheeran is definitely going to be #1 this week, but I think either 'Heartbreak Anthem' or 'Black Magic' could challenge it soon.

He had like a 2:1 combined sales lead last week, so I think it's looking very likely for him this week!

On a better note though, as least you've gone from liking none of the songs in the Top 3 from the last chart to two of them in this one. :)

He isn’t the lead artist on ‘Don’t play and ‘Swerve’ that’s why. The 3 track rule only counts when he’s the lead artist on the single :)

I thought he was a co-lead artist on all of them! Personally, I think it'd be better if they just scrap the rule altogether, haha. :)

He's a sole lead in three of them & a co-lead in two of them! In other words, he doesn't "feature" on any of them.

Yeah, I think a similar thing happened with Lady Gaga a while ago, but now other artists are going to see this & put loads of collaborations on their albums in order to get around the rule. :/

Yeah, I agree with that. Even if an artist does an Ed Sheeran and get a bucket load of songs into the top 100 or even top 40, it's the truth. What's the point of a chart which isn't true? The same principle kind of applies to ACR, though I do support it in certain circumstances.

Personally I think only official singles should chart here which would get rid of the need to have a 3 limit rule and also allow the record of Ed Sheeran to be broken. Artists and record companies can still see which tracks are popular and release them

An artist should be able to have as many singles as in the chart as possible without any rules against that! The name of the chart literally has "Singles" in the title, haha. :)

Exactly! You have an "official" chart that doesn't accurately reflect the most popular songs in the country, which like you said, is exactly what they were created for. :/

I don't think KSI is featured though! He's a lead on all of them, he just shares the lead credit on two of those songs. :)

What that is still confusing because there is a 3 song rule for every artist.

In fact, the opposite happened! :P

If KSI was the lead artist, that would be his fourth best performing song & so it wouldn't chart under the three songs limit, but because Anne-Marie is the lead artist instead, it sadly escaped being excluded from the chart update.
