Official Singles Chart Update on 27/2/2017

I completely agree.
Most of the Stormzy songs will probably be dropping out next week, but 'Bad Things' will be falling with them & that's really disappointing to see.
Unfortunately, it also appears that 'Love Incredible' didn't make the latest Official Charts Top 100. :(

yeah bad things has been 40s in downloads and streaming this week so it cant really be top 40 :( and love incredible is still nowhere to be seen in either :(

I'm pleased to see 'Show You Love' in the 60-70 region on the latest update, but 'Digital Love' doesn't look close to the Top 100 at the moment which is a shame. :/

yeah digital loves a great song. show u loves goo too but not nearly as good. I don't really see where sigala fits into it as for me that kind of dance isn't the kind he normally does.

I would give 'Digital Love' a 9/10 for now & 'Show You Love' is probably getting a 7.5/10 from me. :)
I'm very pleased that Hailee Steinfeld is making more dance music though!

ill probs put up a new chart tomorrow or Monday. ive been listening to divide basically on repeat the last few years, and I now really like it! all the songs are growing on me and theres a 10% chance that all or maybe all but one may make it in my top 40! :D al least 12 or something will get In I think! :)

is it just me or has Bad Things been deleted off Spotify? it wont let me listen to it and when i search it the song doesn't come up. its not on camila or mgk's Spotify profiles either. :/ is it same for u? :(

I'm not too sure because I don't have a Spotify account (I listen to songs either on YouTube or the radio), but I can't find 'Bad Things' on any Spotify charts at the moment.

Well I'm really loving Camila's solo career at the moment; all of the song she's featured on since she left Fifth Harmony have gone Top 10 on my personal charts! ;)

yh I'm listening. I like did you see so I'm glad it entered, and the cures good too. Ive only heard DNA and Humble as goes but both are good so I hope the others are too! Loyalty sounded ok but ill give it another listen when I finally get to this chart (I have two more first to do) but theres a lot of new entries and many of the current 'exciting' songs for me are hanging around the lower top 10 or just outside so I'm happy! :D

Yeah, I'll post my review of the Official Charts when the Top 100 refreshes, but I gave positive reviews for all of those songs that you mentioned! :)

yeah, how and why did they get them there? :) I might acc do a review for once, either tonight or tomorrow. preferably the former but it depends on if I'm online. yh Ill tell u when the chart is up! a reason it takes me so long is that cos I have the stats aswell as the chart, it takes a while and cos I usually do it late sometimes it gets too late and I have to start over the next day. :/

Mine's been good thanks, but I'm back at University now that Easter is over. I'll have four exams between now & the middle of May, but then I get a four month break for the summer! :D

wow- four months is an awful lot!! we get 6/7 weeks :/

Well we don't have half terms at University. Also, the exams & coursework are much longer than at school.
I hope studying is going well for you though! What are your best & worst subjects at the moment then?

er, my best would be maybe English and Drama, and chemistry is probably my worst. However in just over a week I have a chemistry exam of everything we did last year :/ what about you? :)

My best has always been Maths since I was born to be honest, so that's what I'm studying at University now. Second best would be Physics for me & then a tie for third between French & Chemistry. :)
As for worst, probably Art & History.

Well when I did my GSCEs: English, Maths, Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), PE & RE were all compulsory subjects. My options in addition to that were: Geography, French & Music. The latter of those was probably my least favourite in terms of choices that I had to make in Year 10.

ARGH I'm so angry!! I completely finished updating my crownnote chart then my page refreshed when I pressed save!! :( :( so I have to do it all again!

Thanks for the heads up about this being posted! ;) Thankfully, Future won't be doing much damage on Friday. The boost from the Brits will be more notable on Friday.

Thanks to Stormzy's debut, the songs that dropped will do so more noticeably than they would otherwise, but overall the trend of getting older songs out quicker continues. Several of my most disliked songs seem headed to big drops. ;) I do feel sad for Shed a Light ... :|

One other thing I'm happy to see is that huge rebound for 'Shout Out To My Ex' thanks to Little Mix's performance & winning their first BRIT award.
The most notable moves I've noticed on the Albums Chart Update are: 'Ladies & Gentlemen - The Very Best Of...' by George Michael (15-4), '24k Magic' by Bruno Mars (14-5), 'Long Live The Angels' by Emeli Sande (34-9) & 'I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It' by The 1975 (40-13). As expected, 'Gang Signs & Prayer' by Stormzy will be debuting at #1.

Thanks for the album update! Let's hope BB posts the Hot 100 at a decent hour. Can you believe there are rumours of a third Future album for next week ... That'd be too much! :P

Haha! Well two Future albums is certainly enough for me at the moment. Did you know that 'Cold' (with Maroon 5) is actually his first ever UK Top 40 appearance?

For some reason I'm not surprised. I doubt he would be able to reach the Top 40 on a song where he's not featured or is a collab. In that sense, Brits have better taste. ;)

Another thing I noticed if that Future did release a third consecutive album this Friday, then there's no way it would get to #1 either in the UK or the US, as '÷' is being released on the same day. ;)
