Top 10 albums of the year so far - Week 23:
1) Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 1604 (1536)
2) Harry Styles - Fine Line 1541 (1483)
3) Queen - Greatest Hits 1525 (1462)
4) Pop Smoke - Shoot For The Stars 1505 (1448)
5) Fleetwood Mac - 50 Years Don't Stop 1466 (1399)
6) Lewis Capaldi - Divinely Uninspired 1455 (1399)
7) Ed Sheeran - Divide 1423 (1363)
8) Elton John - Diamonds 1414 (1348)
9) Fleetwood Mac - Rumours 1227 (1173)
10) Eminem - Curtain Call The Hits - 1206 (1156)
No positional changes except Lewis Capaldi drops from equal 5th to 6 and 50 Years Don't Stop gains 5th place on it's own. Xxxtenacion's Question Mark falls out of the top 75, leaving 37 albums on the chart all year. The next 3 albums (11-13) are catching up points fast to possibly gain a top 10 place this month.
David Bowie extends his lead of most hits this year: 5 new entries, a re-issue and Legacy on chart all year, totalling 7.

The first 2-week consecutive #1 run since October. The artist in question to do it last climbs to #4 with the last album before Sour to spend a 2nd (non-consecutive) week total. Taylor Swift has both of the previous 2 albums to earn 2nd week at #1. No male artist has had 2 consecutive weeks this decade.
Joshua Sombra
Olivia Rodrigo's album is rubbish and don't deserve to be No.1
Blank
Doesn't matter if it 'deserves' it or not. It's objectively #1. It sold more than any other this week. On that basis alone it deserves the position.

Philip King
The Blue Meaning by Toyah back in the charts at #59 yayy

Top 3 albums of the week are:
1. FM Attack - The Never Ending
2. Waterparks - Greatest Hits
3. Texas - Hi

Olivia Rodrigo, Easy Life and Del Amitry's albums were all trash.
Don't deserve to be top 10.
OP
Oliver Prange
Del Amitri may not be to your personal taste, my friend. But you cannot seriously describe it as trash. It is brillant handmade music and so much better than anything in the charts. You can acknowledge good music even if you Listen to other stuff. Just saying sth is trash seems a bit rude...
Joshua Sombra
Yeah but albums that chart poorly are better if it is from upcoming artists.
