Tom Jones's great and brave new album, Surrounded by Time should open at #1. And so it will be, listen to my word!
Marko
The Offspring are one hit wonders. This album is terrible.
Blank
Are you familiar with their previous 25 years of hits? (including a #1)
PS if you think that is awful, try listening to #81
Marko
Imelda May awful album, who listen to this garbage?
Marko
London Grammar, only 1 good song on the album - How Does It Feel.
Carl Mefkintallica Foxall
AJ Tracey at number two??? Greta Van Fleet at number eight??? Greta Van Fleet should be at number two They actually should be at number one
Odine Resear
I'm beginning to think maybe its time greatest hits/best of albums should be excluded from the top 100 so many stand alone, new releases even back catalogue titles are denied chart positions and lose their places in chart history.
S
Sarah
The charts present what ppl are buying so if new releases do not make a dent in the charts it's probably because lack of sales.

Top 10 albums of the year so far - week 17:
1 Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 1188 (1116)
2 Harry Styles - Fine Line 1165 (1100)
3 Pop Smoke - Shoot For The Stars 1155 (1093)
4 Queen - Greatest Hits 1144 (1080)
5 Lewis Capaldi - Divinely Uninspired 1104 (1043)
6 Fleetwood Mac - Don't Stop 50 Years 1077 (1010)
7 Ed Sheeran - Divide 1055 (992)
8 Elton John - Diamonds 1020 (961)
9 Juice Wrld - Legends Never Die 945 (899)
10 Kid Laroi - Fk Love 915 (876)
No change in positions this week. All 42 albums on the chart every week so far remain on chart for another week. The number of new hits now equals the number of old hits (albums on chart 2020 and earlier) - 115 each, 230 hit albums in total.
With new albums only accounting for 16.2% of chart weeks and 21.7% of chart impact, the new albums are much smaller hits than the catalogue records from previous years. Those 42 albums accounting for 56% of all chart weeks awarded in 2021.

Happy to see London Grammar at #1. :)

Once more a wrong cover shown: Instead of the cover of "A" by Jethro Tull, we see the cover of their most famous album, "Aqualung" .
