s there any stopping Taylor? The record-breaking singer has secured the double for a second consecutive week as The Life of a Showgirl tops the Official Albums Chart while The Fate of Ophelia continues its reign on the Official Singles Chart throne.

Breaking numerous accolades last week, including biggest opening week of her career and overtaking Elvis to become the international artist with the most UK Number 1 albums ever, Taylor keeps hold of her crowns for another week.

Taylor also sees Opalite (4) and Elizabeth Taylor (6) retain their standing in the Top 10, rounding off another strong week for the star.

Albums

Delving further into the albums, the highest new entry this week comes from Britpop pioneer Richard Ashcroft with his latest solo release, Lovin' You (3). The Lancashire born singer-songwriter, who supported Oasis on their Live 25' Tour and will be rejoining them in November, secures his seventh Top 10 record.

And the good news doesn't stop there for the former Verve frontman! Lovin' You also tops the Official Vinyl Chart and Official Record Store Chart - the best seller on vinyl and in independent record stores over the past seven days.

Olivia Dean continues to show why she is one of the most exciting British prospects as The Art of Loving takes the Number 2 spot, jumping two this week. Can she cause an upset next week and reclaim the top spot from Taylor?

sombr's debut release I Barely Know Her enjoys a resurgence this week, climbing four (13). With rumours of a new single on the horizon, Tate Mcrae latest album So Close To What moves up three (24).

Remember the name. Rising Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid is making ground in the charts, as Rebel scales new ground, lifting seven to a new peak at Number 29.

Calum Scott claims his second Top 40 record with the emotive Avenoir (31), while a viral rock version of 50 Cent's Many Men making the rounds on the internet recently, the hip-hop star's Best Of album re-enters the Top 40 and grabs its highest position since its peak in April 2024 (34).

Pitbull fever! As the American announced his worldwide tour last week, his Greatest Hits record rockets 20 places (36). Similar tour-related jumps for Maroon 5 whose Singles collection is back in the Top 40 (37), while Katy Perry's Teenage Dream rises 13 places as her The Lifetimes Tour is currently in full swing (39).

Singles

Olivia Dean finds herself in the runners up spot once again. Previous Number 1 Man I Need just misses out on the singles summit, but the 26-year-old retains a hat-trick of tracks in the Top 10 including Nice To Each Other (7) and So Easy (To Fall in Love) (8).

It's a good week for K Pop Demon Hunters, as the film's soundtrack sets a new record for the longest-running Number 1 of all time on the Official Compilations Chart. At 17 consecutive weeks at the top, the soundtrack to the Netflix show overtakes previous title holder, Wicked (16 weeks). Featuring the chart-topping song Golden (3) by animated K-Pop girl group HUNTR/X, one of two tracks from the film making today's Official Singles Chart Top 10, Your Idol is at Number 10. Plus HUNTR/X's How It's Done could also be a future Top 10 contender, securing a brand-new peak this week of Number 12.

The Top 5 is rounded off by Raye's viral WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!

Following the news his Wun World Tour will be hitting the UK in March, with his London show already sold-out, Gunna and wgft featuring Burna Boy climbs six places this week (22).

Congratulations to rising star Sienna Spiro who lands her debut Top 40 placing on the Official Chart and highest new entry of the week with the soulful ballad Die On This Hill (26). Moreover, her previous single You Stole The Show lands at  Number 65 and her breakout track MAYBE is at Number 72. This means she joins Lola Young, Olivia Dean, and Raye as the only other female British artists to have three songs in the Top 100 this week.

Tkandz and CXSPER continue to impress as their hit track NOW OR NEVER climbs even further up the chart (28), while EsDeeKid's Phantom featuring Rico Ace is the highest climber inside this week's Top 40, up seven places to Number 29.

And finally, the link-up of BLACKPINK'S JISOO and former One Direction member ZAYN see their track EYES CLOSED break the Top 40 (37).

Well did you expect anything less in differences of generations sales? Streaming as usual was always going to wi with the tightfisted Swiftie buyers to the ashcroft Indie Old School buyers of CD and Vinyl..But she hasn't done what only Justin Bieber has ever done and that's have three successive chartoppers all from the Top 3 in turn(at least not yet)...And Swifties you Idol is not in fact don't even dare say it.....The Queen Of Pop. That will forever remain Madonna even though her dominant chart days are long gone and nearly all from old physical Vinyl and CD sales.Madonna has more than 300+ Million worldwide sales to date..Taylor is not realistically on that level yet if it were narrowed down to physical sales alone so streaming should not count .

Oh well, probably just keeping the piece accurate as they'll chuck out another few to get it back to number one if there's a danger of it being dethroned I'm sure.

Absolute joke.

Of course it does because most of them are not true sales not matter what you try and dress them up as. Give me old school sales anyday even though their decline is terminal but maybe dormant for the present time..Change always come in the industry from time to time.

It must've been a while since we last had a chart double for three consecutive weeks. I can't imagine it's happened many times before.

Hoping that 'Pink Pony Club', 'Beautiful Things' and 'Lose Control' leave the Top 40 for good soon. They've been there long enough.
