Back with a bang?
South Korean boy band BTS could mark their return with a first-ever Number 1 single in the UK with SWIM (2).
Following the release of ARIRANG, their first material since 2022, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, Jung Kook, V and Jimin find their track just shy of the summit, but ensued in a tight top spot battle. With one comeback in Harry Styles making strong waves in the chart, can BTS follow suit?
Either way, SWIM is on course to earn BTS their highest charting single to date, with Dynamite in 2020 and Butter in 2021 both peaking at Number 3.
And it doesn’t stop there for the lads! Body to Body (24) and Hooligan (34) may also find themselves inside the Top 40.

That means pole position is currently occupied by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s Rein Me In, which regained Number 1 on Friday to mark its fourth non-consecutive week at the top.
Elsewhere, the iconic team-up between RAYE and Hans Zimmer on Click Clack Symphony. could land inside the Top 20 (18) while Dutch DJ Chris Stussy eyes a first Top 40 appearance with Wide Awake featuring Tom Did It (31).
Can Bebe Rexha and Faithless’ New Religion finally break the Top 40? After agonisingly missing out on Friday, the tune once again begins its push for a main entry ticket, currently sat at Number 38 in this First Look update.
British trio FLO’s Leak It will look to earn the girl group a second Top 40 accolade (40).

I hope Bebe Recha and FLO can hold onto their Top 40 placements in the final chart.
Pleasantly surprised that ‘Click Clack Symphony.’ is as high as it is.
