The 98th annual Oscar nominees for Best Original Song have been revealed. 

Announced today (22 January), the list consists of five tracks, each from different films. 

The nominations can be found here: 

•    Dear Me, Diane Warren: Relentless
•    Golden, KPop Demon Hunters
•    I Lied to You, Sinners
•    Sweet Dreams of Joy, Viva Verdi
•    Train Dreams, Train Dreams

The standout nominee is Golden, which broke Official Charts Records in 2025 and claimed ten weeks at Number 1. The track also recently won Best Original Song - Motion Picture at the Golden Globes, with EJAE delivering an incredibly emotional speech as a result. 

KPop Demon Hunters also became Netflix' most watched film ever, while also being nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2026 Academy Awards. 

Elsewhere in the nominations, Sinners set a new record for the most Oscar nominations ever with 16, while One Battle After Another also taking home 13 nominations.

The 98th Oscars will be held on Sunday March 15 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
