Olly Murs has announced his new single.

Moves will be released this Friday (September 28) and is the lead offering from his yet-to-be-announced sixth album, being released later in 2018. It features none other than the legendary Snoop Dogg.

Olly confirmed the news on social media:

Written by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac, Moves features as the end credits track on the forthcoming Johnny English Strikes Again, in cinemas October 5.

The Voice UK coach will perform Moves for the first time in a world exclusive on The Jonathan Ross Show this Saturday (September 29).

Discussing Olly's upcoming campaign, David Dollimore, president of Olly's record label RCA told Music Week: "He just puts great records out. He does have a more physical audience, but with clever marketing campaigns and digital campaigns, who knows? It might stream bucketloads - we've just got to wait and see how the audience reacts."

Olly last released an album in November 2016 when his fifth collection 24 HRS became his fourth consecutive UK Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. Only Olly's self-titled debut album missed the top spot, peaking at Number 2.

Olly is one of The X Factor's most notable acts, arguably the most successful. He has scored four Number 1 singles, 18 Top 40 hits (the second-most among the show's alumni) and four Number 1 albums, the joint-highest with One Direction. View Olly Murs' full UK chart history here on his OfficialCharts.com artist hub.
