The most-streamed albums of the 2000s: Arctic Monkeys and Lady Gaga lead the pack

Arctic Monkeys' 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not is the most-streamed album of the 2000s.

The Sheffield band's era-defining indie collection, which yielded the Number 1 singles I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor and When the Sun Goes Down, has spent a massive 599 weeks on the Official Albums Chart so far.

Lady Gaga's 2009 debut The Fame, which has spent 405 weeks on the Official Charts to date, is the second most-streamed of the decade. Like Arctic Monkeys' debut, it yielded two Number 1 singles: the electro bangers Just Dance and Poker Face.

Rihanna's third studio set, 2007's Good Girl Gone Bad, is the decade's third most-streamed album. Last year, a fan favourite song from the album, Breakin' Dishes, cracked the Top 20 for the first time after going viral on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Kanye West's 2007 LP Graduation is the fourth most-streamed album of the 2000s, followed by 50 Cent's 2003 debut Get Rich or Die Tryin' in fifth and Amy Winehouse's 2006 landmark Back to Black in sixth.

Eminem has more entries in the Top 40 most-streamed albums of the 2000s than anyone else – four. The hip-hop superstar's 2002 album The Eminem Show places highest at Number 7, followed by 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP at Number 15, 2004's Encore at Number 26 and 2009's Relapse at Number 35.

However, Linkin Park are close behind with three albums in the Top 40: 2001's [Hybrid Theory] at Number 11, 2003's Meteora at Number 18 and 2007's Minutes to Midnight at Number 34.
