Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and MØ's Cold Water shoots to Australian Number 1
Following its debut at Number 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart, Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and MØ have replicated their UK success in Australia.
The Ed Sheeran-penned track is Major Lazer and MØ's second ARIA Singles Chart Number 1 together, following Lean On in 2015. They knock Katy Perry's Rise from the top spot, a track that tumbles 11 places to Number 12.
Australian rapper Illy rises to Number 2 with his new single Papercuts while Anne-Marie claims her first Top 10 in Australia with Alarm at 10. Further big climbers come from Ariana Grande's Into You which leaps seven spots to 11, and Usher's Crash, up three places to 17.
Over on the ARIA Albums Chart, four of the Top 5 are albums by Australian acts, including a new Number 1 from harmony group Human Nature; Gimme Some Lovin': Jukebox Vol. II is their fourth Number 1.
The rest of the Top 5 is completed by Flume's Skin at 2, The Avalanches' Wildflower at 3, the only non-Australian Top 5 placer from Adele with 25 at 4 and former chart topper Wings of the Wild by Delta Goodrem at 5.
