Louisa Johnson has won the X Factor 2015 final.

After a tense final against duo Reggie 'N' Bollie, Louisa emerged as the winner of the show's 12th series.

Louisa now releases her winner's single, a cover of Bob Dylan's Forever Young, which she performed live on the finale. The track is out to download now and will be released on CD single on Wednesday, December 16 and includes recordings of her live renditions of God Only Knows and Let It Go from the show.

Proceeds from downloads, CDs and streams of Forever Young will go to children’s charities Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.

"I’ve imagined this day for so many years," Louisa said after the reveal. "It’s incredible."

Her mentor Rita Ora said: "Thank you to everyone who voted! And thank you to Louisa for being the most talented, hardworking and gorgeous winner!"

There was also a stunning performance from Adele, who made her debut on the show with her chart-topping single Hello, admitting she "felt like East 17" performing on stage at Wembley, while Coldplay returned to perform Adventure Of A Lifetime.

One Direction also returned for a second time this series for two final performances ahead of their break next year. The quartet sang Infinity and gave an emotional rendition of History from their latest album Made In The A.M after a series of farewell messages from the likes of David Beckham, Danny Devito and James Corden.
