Lost Frequencies claims debut UK Number 1 with Are You With Me: “You can't believe how happy and proud I am”
Plus new entries from Rita Ora and Krept & Konan.
Belgian DJ/producer Lost Frequencies – real name Felix De Laet – has scored his first UK chart-topper with Are You With Me.
The infectious dance track - a remix of country artist Easton Corbin’s original – has previously topped the charts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and first entered the UK Top 100 at Number 97 four weeks ago, before steadily climbing to Number 1.
"When I produced Are You With Me in 2014 I did not expect it to grow this big,” Lost Frequencies told OfficialCharts.com, “It's a real honour to reach the Number 1 position in one of the leading music markets of the world. You can't believe how happy and proud I am. Thanks to all those who supported the tune.”
Tinie Tempah’s Not Letting Go feat. Jess Glynne slides one place to Number 2 today, followed by this week’s highest new entry, Rita Ora’s Poison (3), which scores the singer her eighth UK Top 10.
Walk The Moon’s Shut Up and Dance holds firm at 4, trailed by the most streamed track of the week, Major Lazer’s Lean On feat. MO and DJ Snake (5), which has racked up 2.21m listens in the last seven days.
Three other tracks have surpassed the 2 million streams mark this week; OMI’s Cheerleader (2.07m), Lost Frequencies’ Are You With Me (2.02m) and Jason Derulo’s Want To Want Me (2m).
