Little Mix's latest release Not A Pop Song is off to a strong start on the Official Singles Chart, and could earn the group another Top 40 single this week.
In today's Official Chart Update, Not A Pop Song opens at Number 35. If it holds in the Top 40 until Friday (Oct. 16), it would mark Little Mix's 26th Top 40 single.
Not A Pop Song is the third taster of the group's forthcoming album Confetti, following Break Up Song and Holiday.
The track was co-written by Little Mix and co-produced by MNEK, who has worked on several songs for the band in the past, including Top 5 hit Touch and 2018's Strip.

As previously reported, Headie One is on course to land this week's two highest new entries with Princess ft. Young T & Bugsey (14) and Bumpy Ride ft. M Huncho (25). Both songs feature on his debut album Edna, which is battling Travis for Number 1.
Elsewhere in the midweek Top 40, British rapper Dutchavelli is on track to land his fifth Top 40 single with Cool With Me ft. M1llionz, and Destiny by D-Block Europe opens at 32.
Outside the Top 40, new releases from Chip, Jax Jones and Bebe Rexha ft. Doja Cat are climbing the Top 100.
