Lady Gaga's Joanne world tour reaches the UK in January - and she's opted for a different kind of support act for the shows.

The singer will effectively be supporting herself at the gigs by showing her Netflix documentary, called Gaga: Five Foot Two, before she takes to the stage.

The documentary, which runs for one hour and 40 minutes, follows the star as she records and gears up for the release of Joanne, as well as prepping for her Super Bowl halftime show.

The show, released in September 2017, was generally praised by critics for its up close and personal glimpse into Gaga's life. Five Foot Two was directed by Chris Moukarbel, who also helmed the critically acclaimed Banksy Does New York in 2015.

The UK leg of Gaga's Joanne tour kicks off with two shows on January 31 and February 1 at the Birmingham Arena, and takes in one date at the Manchester Arena and two shows at London's O2 Arena, concluding on February 8.

Joanne - Gaga's fifth studio record - peaked at Number 3 on the Official Albums Chart in October 2016. The collection has been certified Gold in the UK with sales of 130,000. Check out her complete chart history here.
