JADE debuts new song Plastic Box at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend

She made her live solo debut at the Liverpool weekender

JADE Thirlwall Plastic Box

JADE debuted a new song, Plastic Box, during her set at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Liverpool on Sunday (May 25).

On this shimmering midtempo bop, JADE confronts her very prickly feelings about her partner's romantic past.

"'Cause I know you had a life before me, but I'm jealous, obsessive," she sings. "And I wanna burn all your history, burn your history."

JADE's set at Radio 1 Big Weekend marked her live debut as a solo artist. She performed her five Official Charts hits to date: Angel of My Dreams, Midnight Cowboy, Fantasy, IT Girl and FUFN (F**ck You For Now).

She also sang her '90s banger mash-up of Madonna's Frozen and N-Trance's Set You Free.

Her setlist of non-stop bops was completed by a shortened version of Little Mix's Wasabi and a medley of Little Mix hits that included their Number 1 singles Sweet Melody and Shout Out to My Ex.

She really needs to stop with the overhyping of her mediocre songs, after the first one that tried to copy Charly XCX style, none of them have make a dent on the audience

How much is she paying to have all that PR machine working within the official charts?
