GTA 6: Songs confirmed for Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack

Finally, we can stop making the "We got... before GTA VI" jokes.

After the release of Grand Theft Auto V back in 2013, the buzz around the next issue of the game was relentless, with many fans thinking the day would never come. The last setback came in May, when the developers Rockstar stated the game would be delayed until next year.

But with the release of two trailers and a confirmed date for May 2026, the dream is very much now a reality for one of the most anticipated titles of the decade.

Within the two sneak peeks we see a host of new characters including, for the first time ever, a female protagonist, new neighbourhoods and some old classics from the Vice City days. There will also be an in-game social media site to enhance player relations.

One thing that makes GTA so iconic is the songs you can either crank on the radio or that fill each storyline as you strive to complete missions. They aren't just part of the game, they enhance the user experience with so many memories.

So, which songs will be included in GTA VI? Here's everything we know so far.

Here are all the songs confirmed for the GTA 6 soundtrack so far, via its trailers:

• Love is a Long Road - Tom Petty

• Hot Together - The Pointer Sisters

• Thunder Island - Jay Ferguson

• Child Support - Zenglen

• Everybody Have Fun Tonight - Wang Chung

• Talkin' To Myself Again  - Tammy Wynette

• I Love Rock N Roll - The Arrows

The best performing artist in the UK out of these artists so far is Tammy Wynette, who achieved a Number 1 single in 1975 with Stand By Your Man. It stayed at the top for three consecutive weeks. 

Tom Petty is a close second with four Top 10 albums as well as four Top 40 singles. 

GTA VI: Confirmed radio stations for Grand Theft Auto 6

Multiple radio stations will likely be included, as seen in previous versions of the game, but the only one confirmed in the trailer so far is V-Rock, which is a returning station last seen in 2002's GTA Vice City game.
