Glastonbury announce 2027 dates and how to win first tickets

The event will not be taking place in 2026 due to it being a fallow year

Glastonbury

Glastonbury has announced its dates for the 2027 festival with the first batch of tickets being given away via a prize draw.

Fans will have to wait a couple of years to experience the magic of the fields with 2026 being a fallow year, but details have emerged which will get fans excited even if the big weekend is two years out.

Organisers confirmed the dates today (25 September) that Glasto '27 will take place between Wednesday 23 June and Sunday 27 June, 2027.

The initial tickets normally go on sale in November, as has been the case for the past few years, where you will have to pay a deposit and then pay the rest in April to secure your ticket.

However, the event is planning to give even earlier access tickets via a charity prize draw for the 2027 offering.

The competition is collecting urgent funds to aid the efforts of Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF UK) in response to the ongoing crises in Gaza and Sudan.

Those who enter could win one of 25 pairs of tickets with entries costing £10 each. Over £82,000 has already been raised towards the £100,000 target at the time of writing, a fantastic effort for such an honourable and important cause.

Although the wait may seem long for Glasto to return, the path to tickets may just be around the corner.

How can I donate to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF UK) to enter the prize draw?
