It's been the question on every fans lips since Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl concluded The Girls Aloud Show tour earlier this year; will Girls Aloud continue on as a group?

Well, Alouders, things are looking pretty positive.

Not only will Girls Aloud release the official 2024 Children in Need single, I'll Stand By You (Sarah's Version), in honour of their late bandmate Sarah Harding this Friday (November 15), but they've now addressed questions as to their future.

Asked if they're likely to tour together on The Girls Aloud Show: The Interview, available to stream now on ITVX, Cheryl said:

"We're catching our breath! One thing I have learnt in my infinite wisdom, at my ripe age, is that you can genuinely never say never."

"I don't think we saw ourselves doing this tour," added Nicola. "At one time, we didn't think we could see us doing this."

With host Ben Shephard pointing out that Cheryl had once claimed it was 'never going to happen,' Nicola joked: "Cheryl says a lot of things!"
