Time to dance! Ezra Collective become the first UK male jazz group to earn a Number 1 studio album with Here Because Of Hope. 

The 2023 Mercury Prize winners’ fourth album explores the movement of people, culture and sound across generations, and the ways those journeys continue to shape British culture today. 

From London’s grassroots jazz scene to stages around the world, Ezra Collective’s ascent has been quite the ride, with Here Because Of Hope placing freedom, community and possibility at its heart. 

And the celebrations don’t stop there. As well as earning their maiden UK Number 1 album, Ezra Collective also top the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, shifting the most copies on wax over the past seven days. What a week for Femi, TJ, Ife, James and Joe! 

Feeling the love this week are Bloc Party, as Anatomy Of A Brief Romance debuts at Number 6, becoming the four-piece’s sixth Top 10 album. 

The record also lands at Number 1 on the Official Record Store Chart, selling more copies in independent record shops than any other album over the past week.

Big news for RØRY fans! The enigmatic British singer-songwriter scores her highest-charting album yet as BLOODLETTING debuts at Number 8. 

Surpassing 2025’s RESTORATION as her personal best, the record sees RØRY explore grief, rage, mortality and what it truly means to be alive. BLOODLETTING also reaches Number 1 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart. 

Reacting to the news, RØRY tells Official Charts: 

"I can’t believe BLOODLETTING is #8 in the chart. I want to dedicate this to Miles Kent, and everyone we’ve loved and lost too soon. And of course to the #37Club, you did this. And I am eternally grateful." 

Bonobo makes it four consecutive Top 40 albums as Distance in Static lands at Number 11. 

Metal outfit Green Lung make their Albums Chart debut as Necropolitan enters at Number 25. 

Oasis see three albums surge following their 2027 tour announcement. Time Flies... (1994-2009) climbs 10 places into the Top 5 (5), while (What's The Story) Morning Glory? also jumps up the chart (12). 

Definitely Maybe enjoys the biggest uplift of the three, rocketing 32 places to Number 17. 

Meanwhile, Harry Styles’ former Number 1 Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. leaps 17 places to Number 27 after last week’s announcement that his record-breaking Together, Together Tour will extend into 2027.
