Delta Goodrem to release eighth studio album Pure in November
The acclaimed singer-songwriter will be representing Australia at Eurovision this weekend
Ahead of representing Australia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest this weekend in Vienna, Delta Goodrem has announced she will be releasing her new album, Pure.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter from Down Under is set to captivate European audiences once more on her eighth studio album, with her first single Eclipse released in March, gripping audiences with its inflections of pop brilliance. The LP is set to drop on Friday, 6 November.
Delta will also play a series of Pure: Prelude shows ahead of the record's release, including dates in London and Manchester on 24 and 26 June respectively.
Speaking on the album, Delta said: "Pure is an album I've been creating and living through over the past few years, and it truly feels like a return to myself and the heart of who I am as an artist. It holds some of my biggest singalongs, my most vulnerable moments, and brings in all the elements I love most in music - from intimate classical piano pieces to uplifting cinematic anthems. I cannot wait for everyone to step into the world of Pure and make these songs part of their own story too."
Delta left an exponential mark on the UK charts in the early to mid 2000's. Between 2003 and 2005, Delta went on a streak which resulted in six Top 40 singles and two Top 40 albums. This includes the iconic Born To Try and Almost Here featuring Brian McFadden.
Delta has also entered a new creative chapter, signing with Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola. "I am so excited to be stepping into this new chapter and joining forces with Universal's Better Now Records. It marks the beginning of a powerful new home for ATLED Records - something I am incredibly proud of - and I can't wait to share what we create together."
