The BRITs Effect: PinkPantheress, ROSALIA, Harry Styles and more enjoy post-show surge in sales and streams

Brits Rising

With the hangovers slowly fading but the euphoria lingering, we take a look at the impact of the first BRIT Awards to take place outside of London.

From show-stopping performances to well-deserved winners, the energy of the Manchester ceremony showed off some of the best in British music and more, so it’s no surprise to see a slew of performers and winners enjoying a post-show uplift.

HIghly-anticipated show opener Harry Styles, whose latest album – Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally is out today, sees the sales and streams of lead single Aperture surging 44%, and rising 6 places to re-enter the Official Singles Chart Top 10.

BRITs Producer of the Year PinkPantheress walks away as arguably the biggest beneficiary of the night - her 2025 release Fancy That catapults from outside the Official Albums Chart Top 100 all the way up to Number 5 - the highest position the album has achieved since its peak. The 24-year-old became the first woman and youngers winner to ever receive the award, achieving a stunning 569% sales and streaming uplift this week, according to Official Charts data.

Spanish sensation ROSALIA, frequently touted as the performance of the night with her spectacular genre-bending Bjork collaboration, Berghain, certainly left an impression with the British public. Sales and streams of both the track and its parent album LUX rocketed over 300% week on week.

American sensation sombr stunned the world when a crowd member donning a ‘sombr is a homewrecker’ rushed the stage and pushed him off during his performance of his latest single, only for the seemingly crazy moment to be a stunt promoting said single. His debut I Barely Know Her ascends 10 places to re-enter the Top 20 at Number 17.

It was a night to remember for Sam Fender too who secured both Song of the Year for Rein Me In with Olivia Dean and Alternative/Rock Act. His album People Watching surged 33% over the past seven days, climbing 22 places up the Official Albums Chart to Number 28.

Other post-ceremony winners include BRITs performers Wolf Alice, sales and streams of The Sofa doubled this week, while winner of the Outstanding Contribution To Music award, Mark Ronson, whose electrifying star-studded medley on the night helped drive a 77% uplift on his 2006 breakthrough album version.
