A Star Is Born’s Motion Picture Cast Recording is Number 1 once again on the Official Irish Albums Chart.

As a result of its sixth consecutive week at the top, it marks Lady Gaga’s longest tenure at Number 1, surpassing the five non-consecutive weeks that The Fame/The Fame Monster managed across 2010 and 2011.

New entries and climbers

Muse score this week’s highest new entry with Simulation Theory at Number 5, their seventh Top 5 album, while the 50th anniversary reissue of The Beatles’ self-titled album enters at 7. You Know I Know from Olly Murs also impacts the Top 10 (10), while Imagine Dragons’ fourth record Origins is just outside at 11.

Lil Peep’s posthumous album Come Over When You’re Sober – Part 2 opens at 12, while Billie Eilish’s EP Don’t Smile At Me vaults 10 places to a new peak of Number 19. Michael Buble’s Christmas is also on the up, sprinting 18 placings to 22.

Finally, a further two new entries impact the Top 50: Trippie Redd mixtape A Love Letter To You 3 begins at 32; and Jonas Blue debuts at Number 35 with Blue.
