Who are Nova Twins?
Nova Twins are the genre-smashing duo redefining what rock can sound like in the 21st century. Fronted by Amy Love (vocals, guitar) and powered by Georgia South (bass), the London-born pair fuse punk rock, alt-metal, grime, and electronic chaos into a sound that is unmistakably their own. Their music doesn’t just defy categories — it obliterates them.
Formed in 2014, Nova Twins rose from London’s underground scene, releasing their self-titled debut EP and quickly earning a reputation for their explosive live shows. Their 2020 debut album Who Are the Girls? kicked the door down, with razor-sharp riffs and socially charged lyrics demanding space for women of color in heavy music. In 2022, their follow-up album Supernova cemented their place as trailblazers, earning a Mercury Prize nomination and BRIT Award nods for Group of the Year and Best Rock/Alternative Act.
Their newest album, Parasites & Butterflies (2025) reached Number 1 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart in September 2025.
