TYLER THE CREATOR

Tyler, The Creator is the moniker of Grammy-winning rapper, singer and record producer Tyler Gregory Okonma. Coming up as one of the founding members of hip-hop collective Odd Future (also featuring Frank Ocean), Tyler's solo career has seen him dabble in increasingly inventive and forward-facing records like Flower Boy (2017), Igor (2019) and Call Me If You Get Lost (2021).

While Tyler The Creator made his first UK chart appearance in May 2011 with the release of his debut studio album Goblin through XL Recordings, he made his UK Singles Chart debut six years later in 2017 with Who Dat Boy, breaking the UK Top 20 for the first time with Earfquake in May 2019.

In 2017 the US rapper scored his first UK Top 10 album with Flower Boy, peaking at Number 9 - the first of three consecutive Top 10 records, including 2019's Igor (Number 4) and 2021's Call Me If You Get Lost, which also peaked at Number 4.

1 November 2024 saw Tyler, The Creator overthrow midweek leaders Courteeners to land his first UK Number 1 album with Chromakopia, clinching the top spot of the Official Albums Chart in the final 24 hours of the race with a margin of 800 copies.
