Scottish new-wave band Altered Images started life as a quintet in the early 1980s - issuing three studios albums and three UK Top 10s before calling it quits in 1983. Their highest charting single was 1981's Happy Birthday. 39 years later in 2022, Altered Images announced the release of their first original new music in nearly 40 years with new album Mascara Streakz, co-written by Clare Grogan and produced with her husband and band alumni Stephen Lironi.
