Who are The Cribs?

The Cribs are a British indie rock band originally from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, that formed in 2001. Consisting of twins Gary and Ryan Jarman, and their younger brother Ross Jarman, and with eight studio records under their belts, the group have amassed critical acclaim – and disclaim – following the release of their self-titled debut record in 2004 via Wichita Recordings (The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bloc Party). Described by NME as “the biggest cult band in the UK” , and by themselves as “a really feral prospect from a Northern town”, paired with a catalog that includes albums produced with Steve Albini, Edwyn Collins (Orange Juice), Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), Rik Ocasek (The Cars).
