Idols is the fourth studio album by YUNGBLUD, released through Capitol Records on 20 June 2025.
Idols is more than an album — it’s a confrontation. A reflection. A sonic rebellion against the pressures of comparison, the cult of celebrity, and the search for identity in a world of noise.
Recorded over four years in the heart of Leeds, Idols pulls no punches. Across 12 genre-defying tracks, YUNGBLUD reclaims the chaos of youth, channeling influences from Britpop icons to modern rock renegades. From the theatrical sprawl of Hello Heaven, Hello to the gut-punch emotion of Zombie, this album swings between cinematic grandeur and gritty vulnerability.
In December 2020, his second studio album Weird! became his first UK Number 1 album. He decided to melt down his Official Number 1 award and turn it into safety pins for 150 fans to say thank you for all of their support. Since then he bagged a second chart-topper with 2022's YUNGBLUD, before Idols came along in 2025 and landed YUNGBLUD a third Number 1 to complete his Official Albums Chart hat-trick.
