Gotta just say Ed Sheeran's Shape Of You is dreadful. Where's the melody? Oh, it's painful. Just for anyone not born before 2000, great melodic pop used to sound like this!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF_dFVqVyJI

Ed, no offence meant, but learn how to write melodic music like that. A MELODY. No amount of success can make you a decent songwriter.

Ups and Downs time!

Ups:
Believe it or not, the first Up is of Be The One climbing because believe it or not, I actually rather like that song.
After The After Party drops out. Drop and stay out, I say!
Zara Larsson's new song fails the top 40. HAHAHAHAHA! Not heard it yet but I have extremely low hopes.
Mr Brightside still in, but if this happens o another eight weeks I may have to give it a down as I kind of don't want it to break Chasing Cars' record. You know the one.

Downs:
Shape Of You #'1 will now be a down. It's getting kind of boring now, and it's killing COTH's chances of hitting the top.
Top 4 static. Hooray. Sarcasm.
Call On Me hanging around, I've now heard the remix and it's just as trash as the original. They're basically the same except the remix has more of a kick.
Dua Lipa hitting the top 10 must be a down, it's a bit of an insult that actual hard working artists like Mumford & Sons and Imagine Dragons have never had a top 10 but Dua Lipa has...
Major Lazer's new song enters, it's so generic and disappointing as a follow-up for a great song like Cold Water.
Martin Garrix's new song enters, he needs to go back to his old style, future bass is .
Rag 'N' Bone Man's new song enters, it's well boring, his voice is not suited for a piano ballad.
Train were well close to hitting the top 40. Awful band, and...
Izzy Bizu almost hits the top 40. Technically this should be an up though, considering it ACTUALLY was set to hit 40.

Pretty bad week

Nice review Synthesiza! :D
I might as well post my Ups & Downs here too...
Ups:
- Ed Sheeran taking the Top 2 spots again. I consider him to be one of my favourite artists of the decade. The #1 is good & the #2 is great.
- The Chainsmokers earn their third Top 5 hit! However, I like them a lot more than post people do.
- Dua Lipa earned her first Top 10 hit & will probably get her second next Friday. 'Be The One' is much better than 'No Lie' though.
- A decent week for debuts. Best: 'Scared To Be Lonely', Worst: 'T-Shirt'.
- 'Tilted', 'Move Your Body' & 'Let It Go' are back. Although, other than Sia's song, I don't expect them to stay around for very long.
- On the albums chart, the 'La La Land' soundtrack hit #1!
Downs:
- 'Castle On The Hill' probably won't hit #1. As we've previously discussed, I really want to see a rock song at the top soon for a change.
- While I'm very pleased to see Ed Sheeran back, I'd like a bit more competition for the top soon. I don't want the charts to get boring like when 'One Dance' was stuck at #1.
- Stagnant & uninteresting Top 10 in general.
- 'After The Afterparty', 'Black Beatles' & 'Mercy' all leave the Top 40 & none of these are likely to return; I really liked all of these songs.
- 'Shed A Light' fell back down this week. Hopefully it can recover.
- 'Bad & Boujee' is still gaining. It was bad enough seeing 'Juju On Dat Beat' in the lower Top 40 & we really don't need this meme going higher than that either.
Overall:
I enjoyed this week a bit more than you did, but yeah, it was nothing too special.

Sia's new song is okay, good change in style but it's hard to trust a song called 'Move Your Mody'

have you ever checked out the bb hot 100 chart? so many fans do their own reviews and revised top 10's each week on the article, you should stop by sometime ;)

really? just click on mine or piran's profile, we're both on it each week. it's usually on both of our recommendations. but since you and piran are in the same time zone, just ask him next time :). he's usually the 1st comment, but i beat his ar$e the other week ;D

I hope "Digital Love" by Digital Farm Animals (feat Hailee Steinfeld) lands on the charts next week. It's already in the top 20 of the South African Dance Chart. It's my favorite song at the moment. I love it.

Ed Sheeran holds the top 2 spots on the Official UK Singles Chart for a fourth straight week, with "Shape of You" at number 1 and "Castle On the Hill" at number 2. "Shape of You" sold 47,000 units and was streamed 8.8 million times this week. In just four weeks the song has sold a total of 306,000 copies and has been streamed 42.9 million times. Ed Sheeran has now matched the record for most consecutive weeks in the top 2 spots by an artist. He now joins Justin Bieber whose singles "Love Yourself" and "Sorry" held number 1 and 2 for four weeks in November, 2015.

"You Don't Know Me" by Jax Jones (feat RAYE) remains firm at number 3 this week.

"Run Up" by Major Lazer (feat Partnextdoor and Nicki Minaj) debuts at number 20.

"Scared to Be Lonely" by Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa debuts at number 23. According to Garrix the song is a follow-up to his 2016-collaboration "In the Name of Love" with Bebe Rexha.

"Samantha" by Dave & J Hus debuts at number 63.

Yes completely distorted by streaming, how can Train's single not even be top 40 on this chart and yet number 12 on the sales chart? Streaming is killing decent music standing any chance of getting into top 40, it's all dire pop rubbish. And Ed Sheeran, whose popularity is a complete mystery to me.

How do I find singles from the top 200 that entered to the top 100. from No 1 to 100. Why does the OCC give the BBC Radio 1 top 40 the weeks in the chart from the top 200, and we the public can't see it. I like to know why.

My thoughts & observations on the UK charts as always…
- Ed Sheeran is still at #1 & #2 on the singles chart with ‘Shape Of You’ & ‘Castle On The Hill’ respectively. The former continues to have a solid lead overall; keeping consistent on sales & taking a slight fall in streaming this week (though still dominating both categories by a big margin), but also leading the radio charts for a second consecutive week too. ‘Shape Of You’s performance was also helped by the release of the official video, which was #1 on YouTube trending earlier this week.
- This week, ‘Shape Of You’ accumulated 47,000 sales & 8.8 million streams. In total, the song has received 306,000 sales & 42.9 million streams. However, the gap between It & ‘Castle On The Hill’ did close slightly this week.
- Although it probably won’t happen, I still really hope ‘Castle On The Hill’ can get to #1, as it would be awesome to see rock back atop the UK charts. As for Ed taking the Top 2 spots again, I’m fine with that for now as both songs are good, but I’d like to see some competition challenging him soon though. Ed also released his tour tickets at 10am yesterday morning & they had sold out across the country in just 40 minutes.
- Dua Lipa has another big week with her songs; she earns her first Top 10 hit with ‘No Lie’ (11-10). It just became Sean Paul’s 12th Top 10 in the main chart! Another reason why 2017 could be a very successful year for Dua Lipa; ‘No Lie’ & ‘Be The One’ take the #1 & #2 spots on overall trending this week, in that order.
- ‘Be The One’ leaps 21-11 on the singles chart this week, but could also go Top 10 next week. This was the first ever song I heard from her & I would easily still call It my favourite. I’m pleased that her record label decided to release it in the UK again. It’s performing well on both sales & radio, but really needs more streaming support.
- ZAYN & Taylor Swift’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ rises to a new peak as It ascends 18-13 today. This is thanks to the release of the official video & big climbs in sales. ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ will be released next Friday, which is why I could see this song going Top 10 on the next chart.
- The highest debuting song of the week is ‘Run Up’ by Major Lazer ft PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj, starting at #20. Including this, the latter act now has 24 Top 40 entries (including leads & features). This is the official follow-up to the huge former #1, ‘Cold Water’ & I’m certainly impressed! While the tropical beat is becoming generic on the radio, it still makes me think of summer & Nicki Minaj’s rap verse is much better than I expected it to be.
- More on Dua Lipa, as ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ enters at #23 this week. It becomes Martin Garrix’s sixth Top 40 appearance in the UK & Dua’s fifth. It’s no ‘In The Name Of Love’, but it’s a still an awesome collaboration & I can definitely see it growing on me. Addictive drop & awesome vocals.
- Rag’n’Bone Man earns his second Top 40 with the follow-up to ‘Human’, called ‘Skin’ (debuting at #35). Like his previous big hit, the rock sound & soulful vocals remain & I think it’s fine at first listen. This will very likely be climbing the Top 40 over the next couple of weeks, ‘Skin’ also acts as the second single from Rag’n’Bone Man’s debut album, ‘Human’, which is due to be released next Friday.
- It was a shame that neither ‘Play That Song’ by Train nor ‘So Good’ by Zara Larsson ft Ty Dolla $ign entered the Top 40, but I think both (especially the former) will next week. Other songs that could also possibly reach the Top 40 include: ‘Big For Your Boots’ by Stormzy, ‘Safe Inside’ by James Arthur, ‘Talking To You’ by Izzy Bizu, ‘Not In Love’ by M.O. ft Kent Jones, ‘Believer’ by Imagine Dragons & ‘Digital Love’ by Digital Farm Animals ft Hailee Steinfeld.
- Finally, the upper region of the albums chart: the ‘La La Land’ motion picture cast recording climbs 2-1 following its 14 Oscar nominations. The rest of the Top 5 is: ‘Classic House’ by Pete Tong (1-2), ‘Glory Days’ by Little Mix (stationary at #3), ‘x’ by Ed Sheeran (10-4) & ‘All These Countless Nights’ by Deaf Havana (debuts at #5).
- Thank you all for reading & have a great weekend! :)

hey mate!! dropped by to say hi to your ar$e! :D wow, this is the very first time i've seen no one but you on here ;D

avatar

Piran

There should be more comments soon, but you know I always try to get here first! ;) LOL

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

well, i would've beaten your ar$e first, but you know i was pre-occupied :). anyway, has the zayn and tay-tay one reached your guys' top 10? and sorry mate, no throwbacks next week...any requests for next week?

avatar

Piran

0

Not quite. As I said in my review, 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' climbed to a new peak of #13 in the UK this week. I think it will reach the Top 10 next week though thanks to increased downloads. ;)
Well I think I already requested this artist, but could you do one for Sam Smith please?

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

hey mate, sorry to keep your ar$e waiting...i keep forgetting how fast the time goes by when i'm on other articles ;D well, we'll see about sam smith, it'll be a surprise;)...any others?

avatar

Piran

2

Well I was thinking about S Club 7, but I had a look at their discography & 'Never Had A Dream' come true is their only hit on the Hot 100, peaking at #10 in 2001. I'll let you know if I think of any other British artists though! ;)

avatar

Piran

1

Actually, now that I think about it, have you done throwbacks for Queen yet? :)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

s club 7...hmm, rings a bell. well, i'm listening to that song right now...i vaguely recall it. i can take a look @ their hot 100 run...i'll hop over to the hot 100 archive right now ;). but i haven't seen or heard anything from them since.

well, i'll think of some more uk acts ;). and then i got the whitney throwbacks planned for the hot 100 article, maybe not this mond. but next mond.

avatar

Piran

1

Well I'm pleased to hear that you know who they are! Unfortunately, they are only a one-hit wonder in the US. :/
Maybe ABBA throwbacks for a future Hot 100 article soon then?

avatar

Sunshine Gal

3

well, i got the hot 100 for 5/12/2001 when they peaked @ #10. looks like they were in the top 10 for 1 week and fell off the chart in about a month. here's the top 10 for that week:

1. janet/all for you
2. destiny's child/survivor
3. dido/thank you
4. lifehouse/hanging by a moment
5. nelly/ride wit me *his album was very big that year, it's diamond 2day!*
6. lil kim, pink, christina auguilera, mya/lady marmalade
7. shaggy/angel
8. case/missing you
9. uncle kracker/follow me
10. s club 7/never had a dream come true

looks like this was a brief hit for s club 7... i can't really recall it. the biggest hit from this top 10 from what i recall is janet's 'all for you'...i remember seeing it @ #1 for a good length.

avatar

Piran

1

Well it's cool that 'Survivor' & 'Angel' were in the Top 10 with 'Never Had A Dream Come True'! Thanks for finding that chart by the way. ;)
It's awesome that Janet was at #1 that week too. 'All For You' actually got seven consecutive weeks atop the Hot 100!

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

the thing with artists like queen and abba, i wasn't following *obviously LOL!* the charts back then...i can't really critique their chart performances that good :D i don't know another way to put it...i wouldn't know what was going on in the music scene during those times. we'll see....i might thrown in some def leppard or some other uk acts that come to mind...have i done any coldplay ones yet?

avatar

Techfan

1

Hey Piran! I noticed Migos' album didn't do that great in the albums chart at #16 and B&B barely climbed in the Singles one and only T-Shirt debuted this week. We won't be so lucky in the BB 200 and Hot 100. For the latter, I hope not all of the songs from Culture would chart this week. If they do it'll be mostly due to streaming. ;)

avatar

Piran

1

Fair enough. :)
Def Leppard throwbacks would be good, but I would absolutely love to see the Coldplay ones! The latter group are one of my favourite acts of all-time.

avatar

Piran

1

Hey Techfan! :)
Well 'Bad & Boujee' might've climbed only three places, but that's still three places in the wrong direction. :P LOL
Regarding the Billboard charts, the final prediction from HDD is that Migos will get the #1 with a total of 66k units. However, using the new chart formula, 'Shape Of You' should go back to #1 on the Hot 100 next week. ;)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

honestly i recall 'independent woman' better on the chart than 'survivor'...but i did enjoy janet back on the charts. i bought her cd that first week! yeah that sounds about right...i recalled her locking the #1 spot for a long time.

and with s club 7, they don't have a hot 100 link, so i just had to skip thru the charts for that year...but, that's still great they achieved a top 10 hit over here. any other recent uk acts you can think of that might've stopped by over here?

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

well, i can always take a look back @ artists like queen and abba, but i'd be more in tune to an artist say like def leppard, cuz i would remember what the music scene was like. but yeah def leppard did really good over here, they had 2 back-to-back diamond albums here: pyromania and hysteria. i was too young for that first one, but def. remember the hysteria album :) one of my faves that year!

and yeah, i don't know too much about coldplay, just one of them was married to gwyneth paltrow *oscar winning american actress*, but i'll take a look @ their chart runs over here. are canadian artists big over there? ;D

avatar

Piran

1

Well 'Survivor' is probably my favourite Destiny's Child song, but didn't 'Independent Woman' get 11 consecutive weeks atop the Hot 100 & become the longest #1 from a female group? :)
I think '7 Days' was a Top 10 hit in the US for Craig David, so maybe throwbacks for him soon?

avatar

Piran

2

Well I'm sure you remember 'Viva La Vida' hitting #1 on the Hot 100 back in 2008. All seven studio albums from Coldplay have reached atop the albums chart in the UK. :)
Oh the singer you're referring to is called Chris Martin, who actually lives only a couple of hours away from me. :D
Yeah, Canadian artists are huge over here; Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Drake & The Weeknd all performed very well back in 2016 on the charts, especially on streaming! ;)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

well, i did like survivor, but indepenent woman was my destiny's jam back then. and yes, 11 consecutive wks @ #1...still the all time record for a female group :). was very thrilling! back then, i couldn't believe they had topped tlc's 'waterfalls' @ 7 wks.

craig david is a british artist? i never knew that...and he only had 1 top 10 hit? ok, i'll a look @ his chart run one of these days. :)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

i think i've seen them in the top 10, i would've paid more attn. to the other artists i liked @ the time. well, looks like they have a handful of #1 albums over here ;) ok, they'll def. be a throwback choice in the near future ;)

yeah chris and gwyneth were married for about 10 yrs and i think they have 1 son together. but like we both said, perfect match ;)

avatar

Piran

1

Yeah, where did you think Craig David was from then? :)
I really can't see Destiny's Child record being passed for many years, if ever. :D
Anyway Sunshine Gal, I need to sign off now, but I'll probably be back on later. If not, see you tomorrow! ;)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

i thought he was american, but i don't know too much about him...ok mate, i'm still on cnn and the bbc sites...i'll talk to your ar$e later :p

MY GOD YOUVE LOST THE PLOT ITS NOT THE UK CHART ANYMORE

avatar

Piran

1

Yeah, other than heavy metal, I certainly don't mind the rock genre at all! :)
I actually looked into the archives & the last rock song to reach #1 in the UK (if you count pop-rock) is 'She Looks So Perfect' by 5 Seconds Of Summer on the 05/04/2014 dated chart.

avatar

Piran

1

Er... yes it is:
"The UK's Top 100 biggest songs of the week is compiled by the Official Charts Company, based on the sales of downloads, CDs, vinyl & audio streams."

avatar

I Am A Stegosaurus

1

I thought the last was either We Are Young by Fun or Spectrum by F+M but the latter only became big because of the Calvin Harris remix so I guess it discounts.
I never actually even thought about 5SOS being the last rock chart topper, but I guess they do count as rock unlike these other bands that get tagged on as 'rock' just because there's a guitarist in the band.

avatar

I Am A Stegosaurus

1

Yeah, I personally hate metal, the rock genres I do like are pop rock, soft rock, electronic rock, punk (I guess) and indie rock/pop

avatar

Piran

0

What did you think of 'We Are Young' & 'Spectrum' then? I thought the former was decent & the latter was good.
I guess the last metal #1 we had was 'Killing In The Name' by Rage Against The Machine back in 2009. That was certainly an interesting Christmas #1! ;) LOL

avatar

Piran

0

I completely agree with you there! :)
Yeah, I consider dance, especially EDM & club, to be my favourite genre.

avatar

Sunshine Gal

avatar

I Am A Stegosaurus

1

I like EDM, but club is just generic

avatar

Piran

1

Haha! Sorry I missed this post of yours. :P LOL
Anyway, how long do you think 'Shape Of You' will stay at #1 in the UK for then? I could definitely see it staying there for another month at least. :)
I bet you're pleased about it probably going back to #1 in the US tomorrow, right? ;)

avatar

I Am A Stegosaurus

1

Oh yeah. Killing In The Name is a rubbish song but oh well it stopped the guy who beat Olly Murs in X-Factor from being Christmas number 1!

Anyway, We Are Young is okay but overrated, Spectrum is decent on its own and good in the remix, you know, back when remixes were actually good.

avatar

Piran

0

Fair enough. :)
Oh how do you feel about 'Big For Your Boots' by Stormzy & 'Play That Song' by Train; both are in the Top 10 on iTunes right now, so both are likely to reach at least the Top 40 on the Official Chart next week.

avatar

Piran

0

I'm not really a fan of Joe McElderry, but I must say that I did like his cover of 'The Climb' though! However, like you, I wish Olly Murs had won the X Factor that year.
Regarding the remixes, there are still lots of great ones out there right now, but very few of them chart that well sadly. :/

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

hey mate! synthesiza was telling me she's been having trouble finding the hot 100 comments, so i told her to go ahead and click either yours or my profile pages. and if she's still stuck to go ahead and ask you since you both are in the same time zone.

so, ed will be #1 in the u.s. on 2mor? so much has happened in the u.s. this past week :D i totally forgot about that...oh did you find out more about that gq article some of the bb commenters were saying he was coming off big-headed?

avatar

Piran

1

Awesome! It would be cool to see Synthesiza there. :)
Yeah, using the new formula, 'Shape Of You' had a strong lead over 'Bad & Boujee' according to the early predictions. The latter of these is dropping in sales in the US very fast which also helps a lot! :D
I still haven't seen those articles yet. I'm working on my next Crown Note Top 40, which I'll be updating in a few hours from now. ;)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

is boujee still gonna be in the u.s. top 10?? we need their ar$e out as well ;). well, i'll be signing off in about a half hr for lunch and then i'll be getting ready for the super bowl. so, i may not have time to go on crownnote until 2mor.

avatar

Piran

1

Yeah, that'll probably be at #2, then there's a chance that 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' could get as high as #2 for the following week. :)
Well I might as well post my Top 10 songs of this past week then. I'll update it tomorrow though...
#1: Ed Sheeran - Castle On The Hill (+1)
#2: Robin Schulz & David Guetta ft Cheat Codes - Shed A Light (+1)
#3: The Chainsmokers - Paris (-2)
#4: Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (=)
#5: Jax Jones ft RAYE - You Don't Know Me (=)
#6: ZAYN & Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever (+3)
#7: Nevada ft Mark Morrison & Fetty Wap - The Mack (-1)
#8: Alan Walker - Alone (+15)
#9: Carly Rae Jepsen - Higher (-2)
#10: Rae Sremmurd ft Gucci Mane - Black Beatles (+1)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

boujee will be @ #2??!! oh my god! LOL! that's just a huge insult week after week ;)

these are the songs you're currently listening to? if so, i'll go ahead and put up my top 10 list too ;)

avatar

Piran

1

Hey, at least 'Bad & Boujee' won't be #1! :P LOL
That's cool! I look forward to seeing your list.
Oh my Top 10 throwbacks of the week are...
#1: Coldplay - Viva La Vida (2008)
#2: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love (2007)
#3: James Blunt - You're Beautiful (2004)
#4: Enrique Iglesias - Hero (2001)
#5: Shakira ft Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie (2005)
#6: Rihanna ft Calvin Harris - We Found Love (2011)
#7: Taylor Swift - Love Story (2008)
#8: George Michael - Faith (1987)
#9: Ed Sheeran - Lego House (2011)
#10: One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful (2011)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

i still can't believe george michael's faith album is 30 yrs old this year! it was 1 of my fave albums during that time. i still remember madonna handing him an award @ the 1989 mtv awards...the time just flew by! well, this is what i'm listening to right now:

1. eminem/we as americans 2004
2. madonna/american life-2003
3. green day/american idiot-2004
4. fleetwood mac/don't stop-1977
5. bruce springsteen/born in the usa-1984
6. kesha/c'mon-2013
7. guns n roses/don't cry-1991
8. destiny's child/soldier-2004
9. le ann rimes/how do i live-1997
10. black eyed peas/boom boom pow-2009

well, with the political climate going on over here, just had to listen to some politically-charged songs :).

avatar

Piran

1

There's definitely a lot of variety here which is awesome! :)
My favourites from your Top 10 are: #2, #3, #6, #9 & #10. :D
What do you think of my two lists then? ;)

avatar

Sunshine Gal

1

your throwbacks are decent, but you know me...2011 is too soon for a throwback for me. never heard of the ed one 'lego house'. my 2 picks from that list is def. leona lewis' and george michael's songs. i can't tell you how big he was over here back then :). kinda like jt during jt's 2nd album...just you heard george on the radio and on mtv all the time back then.

and sorry mate, i don't know who jax jones and alan walker are...both uk acts? ok mate, i gotta let your ar$e go for now, superbowl is coming up soon ;) have a good night! :p

why do you think its not called the uk chart anymore streaming is worldwide they dont just uk streaming

OCC don't count worldwide streaming, otherwise 'Starboy' & 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' would easily be in the Top 10.

Piran

Sorry I missed this post Synthesiza!
Anyway, I'd like to see: 'Digital Love', 'Believer' & 'Safe Inside' inside the Top 40 next week, but I don't really care for the rest to be honest.

OMG Stormzy had better NOT hit the top 10, I hate him, I don't see why every British teen does. He's almost as arrogant as Kanye West as well.

And I hate train, but it would be interesting to see some pop rock in the charts, so...

avatar

Piran

0

Well I think Stormzy is alright; I certainly didn't mind seeing 'Shut Up' in the Top 10. However, I can't stand 'Big For Your Boots' though; the production is much worse in my opinion.
Regarding Train, I actually like them a lot, but while 'Play That Song' is decent, it's also far from their best.

So what other artists/groups can't you stand then? I've never been into Kanye West that much & the things he's recently said or done to Taylor didn't help.

Where do I begin?

Little Mix, Charli XCX, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez (is this sexist?), Stormzy (okay, no then), Beyonce (yeah, FR), Sam Smith, Sigala (pre-Say You Do) and believe it or not, I actually really hate Eminem.

As for Kanye, he has like two good songs, but yeah... don't like him

I'm surprised that you hate Beyoncé & Eminem, but I guess I can see why you might not like some of the others here. Other than Stormzy, I think all of these artists are quite good.
In terms of groups, what is your opinion on One Direction & The Vamps? :)

Both okay. I actually liked 1D without Zayn, both rag Me Down and History are good songs. My fave 1D song is One Way or Another though.

As for Vamps, they are okay (don't like All Night though), but I hate it SO much when people call them a "rock" band

I hate Beyonce because her last few singles have been HORRIBLE, she is SO overrated and her fanbase makes me want to kill myself just for the fun. (No offence if you're a fan).
Eminem... same reasons, but I hate his vocie too

Well my favourite 1D songs are probably: 'What Makes You Beautiful', 'Night Changes' & 'History' & my favourite songs from The Vamps are: 'Wild Heart', 'Somebody To You' & 'Rest Your Love'.
Speaking of boybands, apparently Take That are back with an album next month! :)

Well I really love Eminem's rapping skills, but would go back to his older music any day.
As for Beyoncé, I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I'd also prefer to listen to her late 2000s music than what she's recently been releasing.

Don't like Take That. And, ha, never even heard the former and latter of those Vamps songs

What don't you like about Take That then? Either way, I think it's incredible that they are still releasing studio albums after 25 years as a group! :)
'Wild Heart' actually reached #3 in the UK, but 'Rest Your Love' never charted. I found it really impressive when The Vamps got 5 Top 10 hits from their debut album, but sadly, some of them could only last just one week in the Top 10.

I think Take That are bland and overrated.
