When are you going to update this chart? It's been two months...
SR
Steve Reynolds
What's all this based on ratings wise - latest sales, votes?
Domingo Sacco
Sales!

Now that Prog Music has its own chart can you take them out of the (Hard) Rock & Metal chart (where they never belonged in the first place)? Mike Oldfield in the same chart as Cannibal Corpse makes no sense! Keep in Muse, Tool, Coheed and Cambria, King Crimson but not the softer ones like Floyd, Tull etc.

I think you've got the date wrong, it's not October yet.

Hey, BB! Blondini from UKMix, here! This is a monthly chart compiled for a Prog magazine so the dates will refer to the first week of the next month. Article explaining it and more - some consternation among prog rock fans! - can be found here: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/official-charts-and-prog-magazine-join-forces-to-launch-the-official-prog-albums-chart__10626/ and more here http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/progressive-music-you-didnt-know-you-loved__10624/ It seems they're being careful not to call it Progressive Rock, i see. Though the term Progressive Music could mean anything! Some contentious inclusions whatever your standpoint is.

Thanks, that makes sense.
